I Had an interesting problem this evening. The users blackberry just stopped syncing about a week ago. Initially I thought it it was something with the device however I was wrong. It turns out it was a problem with the BES server. I tried restarting the BES services multiple times on the server to no avail. The blackberry would just sit there on the "activating" screen and never finish. So I read some where online that removing the user account from the BES interface and adding them again would do the trick. I removed the user without a problem but when I tried to add a new user back, it told me that we had no more licenses. We only were licensed for 1 device/user. So after trying a few other things I decided to restart the server. After restarting the server I was able to add the user back to BES and regenerate the activation code. Once I entered it into the device it synced up with the server no problems. Still not sure what would cause the BES to act that way but as for now, problem solved. I will mention that in the process of the blackberry getting stuck on the activation screen the only way i could find to cancel it was to remove the battery and power on again starting over.
