Acer P243w Monitor Causes Blue Screen

I have a acer p243w monitor running through a nvidia 9500gt on a Dell Inspiron 530s. For Some reason it causes windows 7 to blue screen on boot when you urn the monitor off. It then restarts and works fine for a while but at random times while the os is running it will blue screen and reboot .

I reported it over at technet.com but microsoft hasnt been much help.
