Lost in a sea of RDP

Postby Rok » Sat Jul 25, 2009 11:58 am

I spend a fair amount of time managing multiple remote machines and found and at time keeping track of the user names and passwords can be a chore. On top of that when I have 4 or 5 or more session open at once keeping track and managing them can be a real pain. I found this great tool that takes care of the whole mess for you

http://www.avianwaves.com/Tech/Tools/RDTabs/

It allows you to save your session settings (including user name and password) and organizes the whole lot into a simple MDI interface. Ad an extra bonus, it is x64 for those moving into the x64 arena.

As an extra bonus it is Freeware.

I will have to try that one. I normally use mRemote. In the early stages it was very buggy but it seems to be pretty stable now. One cool thing is you can also use it for more than just RDP. It supports RDP, VNC, ICA, SSH, Telnet, RAW, Rlogin and HTTP/S. It is also free :)
